  • Be an inspiration and cement your legacy by making a lasting impact for generations to come.
  • Life is transitory and mortal; immortalize your or your loved one's memory. What will matter is not what you bought, but what you built; not what you got but what you gave.

Why KHGCC

Need for Establishing the Kashmiri Global Cultural Center

The Kashmiri Hindu community, living in US and other parts of the world, has rich social, cultural, and spiritual traditions. It believes in highest spiritual ideals, interreligious and intercultural tolerance, values universal education, and emphasizes the practice of positively contributing to the larger society. However, this endangered ethnic community is scattered throughout the world. If anything can assure the survival of this endangered community, it is its unique culture. One of the approaches to preserve this culture and address an unmet need is to establish a global cultural center to provide a cultural hub and an active focal point for cultural, religious, educational, spiritual, social, and recreational activities at the local, national, and international levels for Kashmiri Hindus, and to contribute to a larger society by promoting interreligious and intercultural understanding and mutual tolerance. Hence, there is keen interest and enthusiasm across the country for establishing a unique Kashmiri Hindu Global Cultural Center (KHGCC) in the greater metropolitan area of Washington, D.C., the capital of the United States.
